“A Story in Stone”

In 2004 Jay Torgerson, a Custer State Park employee, was killed while goose hunting. His mother Carol worked in the gallery for Jon and Gail.  A memorial was set up for Jay to support projects in the park, and Jon painted “A Story In Stone” to help raise money for his memorial.  Jon used the Norbeck Visitor Center for “A Story in Stone” because Jay had worked on its renovation.
