“The Badger Hole”

Badger Clark was the first Poet Laureate of South Dakota.  The cabin featured here was his home for many years, a cabin of his own design and construction, commonly known as “The Badger Hole.”  It is in Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota and is open to the public as a museum.
